job led them. I (Vance) enjoyed watching them do the work. They were comfortable with me being almost underfoot and enjoyed showing me what they were doing. Pat made progress on her current book, Danielle Steele's The House, which was given to her by a fellow "camporette" she met while exploring the Hazelmere RV Park.
I also told the guys I had been having trouble with the inverter. So Patrick figured out a way to semi-permanently attach the inverter to the house batteries, where I did not get a "fault" reading as I did when using the cigarette lighter as my power source. He also reattached a portion of the carpet which had come loose from the side wall of my driver's space.
As we drove away from the repair shop we both noticed a reduction in "road noise" as we went down the road. Clearly, almost half of the noise we have heard as we have travelled has come from the wheel and differential bearings - not to mention the metal shavings in the differential!
Seen on Menu as side dish: Mushy Peas! Signs: Puzzled Looks, an optical shop; Crash Crawlies, adventure fun for toddlers; FIDO is a phone network not a hot dog stand. Crossing into North Vancouver we saw a large log drive down the river. Reminds me of seeing the very last log drive down the Kennebec River in Maine many moons ago.
Ended at Capilano R. V. Park, North Vancouver, B.C.
