Grey, rainy and cool - thermometer outside Office shows 50 degrees. Fixed banana milk shakes for breakfast along with oatmeal. Did the laundry and headed out just past noon. Went to the Forks Visitor Center and Timber Museum. Picked up "Twilight" - vegetarian vampire series - bumper stickers ("vampires heart forks", ha!) and a sheet of photos of series related locales.
Had lunch at Pacific Pizza - Bellasagna, EdBread (garlic of course) and Swan salad. Took photos of places mentioned in the books - the Police Department, Cullen home mailbox, Bella's house, and Forks High School. Did not see the hospital, but understand that there is a reserved parking spot for Dr. Cullen.
Vance was such a good sport driving me all over and waiting for me to take pictures. Author Stephanie Meyers did not see Forks until after her first book went to the publisher, but found it to be a perfect match. The film was not shot here, but the town designated various houses and businesses to represent places in the books. All the hub-bub from fans has taken Forks from a quiet logging town to a busy tourist center. A bit frenzied. 
While we were exploring Forks, we stumbled upon an interesting tree. Pat took two shots of it, one a closeup.
Opted to return to Forks 101 RV Park and work on the blog. Vance is having fun inserting photos in the daily entries. Feels nice to have a day off from travel. Leftovers for supper, just like at home.
